这首歌的genre叫Reggae， Reggae音乐起源于20世纪60年代末的牙买加。它主要ska由音乐演变而来，并融合了Jazz和Motown音乐的元素。
Regae有强烈的脉动节拍，但这个拍子的特征是反拍，我们熟悉的拍子都是是强拍跟弱拍，如2拍4拍强弱强弱，3拍强弱弱。Regae的拍子是弱拍开始，弱强弱强。
这首 I am yours 是美国歌手Jason Mraz用了10多分钟写出的一首歌，也是他的成名曲。唱这首歌对舌头是个锻炼
